Greg:

Once again I have to tell you how much I enjoyed listening to your conversation with Anjuan Simmons on podcast #26. I was so inspired by his passion for technology and his commitment to excellence. He exhibits the character traits that we all should shoot for.

I was speaking to my best friend (old school techie way back from the third grade) who moved from LA to Louisiana. I turned him onto your series of podcasts and we had a long discussion on the state of black males from our generation. Those that were born in the mid 1950's and how we seem to have allowed all of the progress that blacks have fought so dearly for when we were growing up to somewhat lose it's momentum.

I thank you for shining a light on those that are innovative and serve as an example for those that are seeking role-models or just an example that it is possible for a person of color to make it in America if you apply yourself.

Keep on doin' it.

He Gregg:

I just got a chance to listen to this podcast and I must say that I enjoyed it immensely. Samara Lynn was a great interview. I really enjoyed her enthusiasm for wi-fi and actually made a light bulb go off for me when she was commenting on the details of wireless networks. Specifically how wireless networks have the potential to increase because of their ease of installation compared to wired LANS and the increased use of new devices. What rang a bell for me was when Samara spoke of how a buildings construction elements can effect the signal-to-noise ratio of a wireless signal.

Because I'm older than some... I was into amateur radio as a teen as there were no personal computers back then. My first tech accomplishment was receiving my FCC Radio Technician licensee in the 70's. It never really dawned on me that wireless networking would give me a chance to combine two of my interests, possibly to my advantage.

Anyway, thanks for making that available for us and I'll keep listening.

Hi Leon. It really depends on what type of e-reader you're reading it with. If it's a Kindle or Ipad you can still see the screenshots. You bring up a valid point, as I wrote the book to double as a howto, so without the screenshots you'll struggle trying to reproduce the exploits and attacks.

Great show, gentlemen. Really makes the point of how humble beginnings with PC's can turn into successful IT careers. I am interested in purchasing Mr. Evans' book. Is it better for me to purchase the book on an e-reader or to get an actual copy of the book? I ask because I know that the physical book contains screen shots, etc. that the digital copy might not have.

Hi Ronnie and Greg -- a great interview with Elaine! I know Elaine personally and professionally (we used to work together...) and she is just fantastic. That the podcast was featured on the MLK edition of Blacks in Technology was very appropriate. With Elaine, there are no barriers, amongst friends, peers or co-workers....we are colleagues and friends. Elaine does not discriminate --- based on status, experience or educational background, which is one of the reasons I believe her approach to PMP training is so very successful! Keep up the good work in carrying the "Blacks in Technology" and PMP message.

I could not get enough of this presentation.
The moderator and the guest speaker were engaging and actually helped me recover my creative energy that was nearly destroyed by a crushed economy.

I would say interacting with Blacks in Technology had actually helped me recover my "MOJO".

Thanks so very much.
Just time time to deal with clients returning to a norm as they look for my PMP Certification Exam Prep services.
